After the last years worth of socially distanced, sat down sessions, this event is a thank you to all those that have been patient and waited for the return of dances 🥳🎉. What better way to spend a bank holiday weekend than with two sound systems where we can finally dance and be free 🔥. Both sounds will be stringing up inside so we can all enjoy the long missed weight and pressure from a sound system 🎵

🔉 Sinai Sound System 🔉
Sheffield based, Sinai Sound System plays contemporary reggae and dub music presented in the traditional sound system style, fusing the boundaries between pro-audio and sound system culture.
The sound system in its full form was debuted in Sheffield to great acclaim in March 2014. Since then, it has gone from strength to strength pushing the boundaries of what a modern sound system can be.

🔉 Hometown Promotion Sound System 🔉
Hometown Promotion, formed in 2016, as a custom built reggae sound system and artist collective based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Born out of a deep passion for Jamaican music, Hometown Sound has become a tool for community integration with a core mission of unity, respect, equal rights and justice for all.
We look forward to welcoming them to their first visit to the steel city!

🎵 Raggamuffin Record Shop 🎵
In addition to the sound system, the Hometown posse will be bringing their specialist reggae music store – Raggamuffin Records.
Born at the end of 2020 out of the global pandemic, with a mission to serve the Scottish and International reggae community, we buy and sell new release vinyl records, represses, collectors pieces and choice second hand items from our base in Glasgow, Scotland.
